We can become frustrated with routines or habits we’ve developed.

This is a reminder that it’s ok.

Our needs change over time.

What worked well for you last year may not ideal this year.
What worked well last month may not be ideal this month.
What worked for you 5, 10, 20 years ago may not be right for you now.

It can be deeply frustrating.
More than anything though, it’s deeply freeing.

What has worked for you in the past that is no longer serving you?

I encourage you to consider dropping it.
Even just for a little while.
Maybe for a week. Or a month. Or even a day or two.

Voids can be tough though.
So I encourage you to try something different in its place.
Maybe it’s a different approach.
Or a different activity, a different food, a different mindset.
Or some other variation of what you were doing.

There’s no shame whatsoever in re-testing something to see if it’s still working for you.
You may discover it’s not. And that’s valuable information.
You may discover that it is. And that’s also valuable information.

Either way, you’ll discover what’s right for you, right now.
